Video: Recommendations to African Commission & to companies regarding defenders working on corporate accountability

African Coalition for Corporate Accountability (ACCA) & Business & Human Rights Resource Centre interviewed Ms Francess Piagie Alghali, the former Executive Secretary of the Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone, who now works for the Sierra Leone Human rights defenders network. She shared her recommendations for the companies investing in Africa, as well as for the African Commission on Human and People's Rights, in time for the 62nd session of the African Commission, which is currently taking place in Mauritania. This video was produced with support of our partner organizations International Service for Human Rights and Pan-African Human rights defenders network.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be unpacking the topic of attacks on defenders working for corporate accountability in Africa through a series of video interviews.
