Video urges citizens to call for binding EU regulations on conflict minerals

On 18-19 March and 13-14 April 2015 , Members of the European Parliament sitting in the International Trade Committee will vote on responsible mineral sourcing...This will be followed by the vote in a plenary session of the European Parliament on 18-21 May...These votes will be crucial for the outcome of a legislation that has a huge impact on the well-being of many communities in the global South.

CIDSE, EurAc & Commission Justice & Paix have released a video showing European citizens the impact of conflict minerals on locals' lives in Dem. Rep. of Congo and encouraging them to call on MEPs to adopt a binding and comprehensive regulation.
