Virgin Blue Airlines has lost its appeal against a ruling that it discriminated against eight former Ansett flight attendants because they weren't young enough. Supreme Court Justice Martin Moynihan…quashed the appeal and ordered Virgin Blue pay costs. He said the tribunal had been correct in ruling there had been "discrimination in favour of younger and against older applicants because of defects in the (selection) process".
