Following a meeting in March, Wilton Park, in association with the UK Department for International Development and the Institute of Development Studies, published the report "China’s Belt and Road Initiative: supporting sustainable development through high quality infrastructure" to summarise discussions on the major environmental, social and governance risks of and recommendations for investments under the Belt and Road Initiative.
