The world lacks the commitment to feed its people and the war on hunger is being lost, according to the U.N. food agency...The Rome-based Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) has called a follow-up summit for November 5-9 to try to galvanise the international community into action to achieve the 1996 target.
