Xerox to pay penalty for unmonitored emissions [USA]

The Xerox Corporation has settled with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on charges that it failed to inspect vats of waste and monitor air emissions from containers and equipment at its facility in Webster, New York. The company has agreed to pay a penalty of $74,000, and will certify in writing that it is in compliance with all applicable regulations.
