[A discussion to explore the impact of business on human rights and the environment when British companies operate in conflict zones. Many UK companies operate in countries where conflict means the rule of law is often not enforced and the session will explore what the Government should be doing in relation to UK companies operating in countries in conflict. With Lisa Nandy MP, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Business and Human Rights; Rushanara Ali, Shadow Minister for International Development; Andy Whitmore, London Mining Network; and a representative of Shell (tbc).
