The Myanmar General Confederation of Trade Unions (FGWM) writes on social media that pregnant women…are being screened and suspended if they become pregnant due to labor shortages and maternity leave...

Workers at the SUN APPAREL garment factory say workers are being pressured and labor leaders are demanding favors.

Oppression by factory officials in the workplace has led to illegal layoffs and pay cuts every month.

Workers at SUN APPAREL have called on FGWM to help them deal with the oppression and forced labor…who are trying to form a trade union to prevent workers from leaving their jobs.
