Myanmar: Workers in garment factory report verbal abuse & clothes thrown at them by management incl. co. responses

In January 2023, it was reported that workers at Jiashihao (Myanmar) Limited were facing a series of violations, including denial of benefits, mandatory overtime and workers forced to work overnight, verbal abuse, excessive production targets, demotion and wage cuts if workers fail to meet targets including pregnant women, and clothes thrown at workers.

In February 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Lidl and Inditex to respond. The full responses can be found below.
