VIP's response re. allegations of union-busting

VIP closed the first factory in Myanmar permanently due to business loss caused by COVID. Factory has provided written notification to the Labor Department and confirmed complying with law. All workers were terminated and received severance package.

There are 6 committee members in factory Workers Coordination Committee. Regarding the ONE of the WCC representatives, Arbitration Council of Yangon ruled the worker guilty for violating epidemic prevention regulations. VIP terminated the contract with the worker with a compensation. Other allegations are not true.

All voice and opinion that can help improve the labor relationship are welcome. Thank you for the invitation.
