2021 UN Forum on Business & Human Rights: Draft programme available

The United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights is the world's largest annual gathering on business and human rights that regularly attracts over 3,000 participants to its physical sessions in Geneva from governments, businesses, community groups and civil society, law firms, investor organisations, UN bodies, national human rights institutions, trade unions, academia and the media. In 2021, due to the ongoing travel and safety constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 10th annual Forum will be held virtually and with a varied agenda of thematic and regionally focused sessions.  The virtual Forum will enable new global audiences to view and engage with the Forum this year.

REGISTRATION OPEN  

Over three days, from 29 November to 1 December 2021, recognizing that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, participants will take part in over 25 virtual sessions to discuss current business-related human rights issues under the overall theme of “The next decade of business and human rights: increasing the pace and scale of action to implement the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights”. DRAFT PROGRAMME AVAILABLE

Join the Forum to share experiences and learn about the latest initiatives to promote corporate respect for human rights in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The Forum is guided and chaired by the Working Group on Business and Human Rights.
