3 November 2020 -- On November 2, the contractor held a consultation meeting on the revision of the Environmental and Social Framework of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in Beijing. Alberto Ninio, Director of the Investment Business Support Bureau of the AIIB, Han Su, a first-level investigator of the Funding and Project Management Division of the International Financial Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Finance, Zhang Xiang, Secretary General of the Contractors Association, and more than 40 representatives from more than 20 member companies attended the meeting.

The “Environmental and Social Framework” of the AIIB was officially promulgated in February 2016, clarifying the environmental and social policies of the AIIB’s investment and financing projects. Since the beginning of this year, the AIIB has initiated the revision of the "Framework", and the Ministry of Finance has taken the lead in soliciting opinions from domestic governments, enterprises and other parties on the revision of the "Framework".
