ECCJ publishes updated map & comparative analysis of mHREDD laws & legislative proposals in Europe

ECCJ has updated its comparative analysis of the different mandatory Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) laws and legislative proposals in Europe.

This comparative table provides an overview of the specific provisions in the laws adopted or being discussed at the national level, as well as in the legislative proposals put forward in different European countries.

The table analyses the status of each law and legislative proposal; their company, material and value chain scope; the due diligence and reporting obligations they introduce; and the civil liability regimes and public enforcement mechanisms foreseen, if any.
