Letter to BP regarding US political donations of its political action committee

Voir tous les tags

I was [disappointed] to discover that BP’s Political Action Committee is once again helping to fund the campaign of Republican U.S. Congressman Mike Coffman of Colorado, and is continuing to donate to Republican U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma... BP has adopted a human rights policy, and extolls its commitment to implementing the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, as well as its commitment to addressing climate change. Yet the BP Political Action Committee helps to fund the campaigns of politicians such as these who have undermined fundamental rights and the fight against climate change.
