Special Advisory Council for Myanmar calls companies to take appropriate actions to end their support to the military junta

The Special Advisory Council for Myanmar (SAC-M) called “on companies operating in Myanmar […] to assess without any further delay if their actions are financially supporting the Tatmadaw, directly or indirectly, and take immediate appropriate actions to end that support.” In the report, SAC-M lists businesses operating in Myanmar and their actions to enhance respect for human rights. Linked below are statements by the companies named in the report. Further, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited the companies who have not issued any statement to respond to SAC-M's call for companies to take appropriate actions to end their support to the military junta.
