Mesures prises: One worker contacted the Indian embassy in Dubai who gave them a contact number for a Dubai hospital, who gave them the number of the ambulance service. The ambulance service stated that they are only moving elderly or critically ill patients. Workers' attempts to contact the employer went unanswered. A welfare association based in Telangana asked the embassy in Dubai to intervene to move workers to a hospital and called for more testing on those in the camp. They requested repatriation for workers testing negative.

"Indian hospital workers in Dubai camp test coronavirus positive, send SOS home," 24 Apr 2020
Indians... helpers at hospitals in Dubai have sent out an SOS after 10 of them were not given any medical assistance by their employer despite testing positive for Covid-19... [and] locked up in a building in which 70 other Indian workers live and everyone is forced to use the same washrooms.
The 70 Indians... work as helpers and sanitation workers in hospitals and clinics of a prominent group in Dubai and Sharjah...
The men allege that their employer is refusing to test the remaining workers despite them living in close proximity to the group that tested positive.
