Philippines: Employees report subhuman conditions in their company-provided quarters; Teleperformance did not respond

A report, linked below, alleged that Teleperformance's employees who chose to stay in company-provided quarters in light of Covid-19 movement restrictions, are subjected to subhuman conditions, as they are left to sleep on the floor, in close quarters on and on makeshift beds. The report quoted the employees’ letter stating that their only option is to stay in their office if they wished to get paid.

Amazon is reportedly one of Teleperformance's clients and it has been reported that it will investigate these claims as well.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited the Teleperformance to respond. It did not.
