Prague heating company does not discriminate against woman [Czech Republic]

The Prazska teplarenska heating utility company did not discriminate against its economist Marie Causevicova, 51, on gender lines, an appeals court confirmed. The court did not support Causevicova's demand for public apology in the media and financial compensation of one million crowns. It rejected her proposal that she be additionally appointed financial director of the company. The verdict is probably the first one connected with gender discrimination on the labour market in the Czech Republic.
