Bangladesh: Garment workers report 'inhumane conditions' amid ongoing factory closures & layoffs; incl. co. responses

In February 2025, it was reported that the Mim Design garment factory in Bangladesh closed for two months due to lack of orders, without paying workers’ owed wages.

In March 2025, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited NA-KD, MANGO, HEMA, Lojas Renner, Etam Group and Lidl to respond. The responses and non-responses can be found below.
