Due Diligence Examples & Case Studies, Incl. HRIA

Although many companies do not yet have human rights due diligence practices in place, some are starting to lead the way. Businesses may use a mix of different methods, including human rights impact assessment, social impact assessment with an integrated human rights approach, and/or human rights risk assessment.

Additionally, some communities, governments, and NGOs have taken it upon themselves to conduct impact assessments and other forms of due diligence. Sector-wide impact assessments, for instance, evaluate the collective human rights impacts from all businesses within a particular industry.
