HelperChoice, a free online platform that assists domestic workers to find employment, will start operating in Macau in September...

Founded in 2012 in Hong Kong as the first startup looking to connect foreign domestic workers to employers in Hong Kong and Singapore, in order to avoid labour abuses in the sector by removing employment agencies middlemen and charges.

The platform has been recognised by the International Labour Organisation... for promoting fair recruitment practices...

HelperChoice... CEO, Benjamin Suchar… [said]: “HelperChoice facilitated more than 50,000 recruitments and estimates that more than 60 million euros (US$67.3 million/MOP 541.5 million) of illegal placement fees were saved,”...
