Company takes workers for HIV test [Malawi]

Central African Wilderness Safaris staff members and their spouses took an HIV test, with assurances to those who tested HIV positive that the company would support them…The response was very good with 90 percent of workers turning up to be tested…Managing Director, Mr Chris Badger… said he hoped that this would send a clear message from management that they will do all they can to empower staff to know about, prevent and if necessary treat the disease amongst them…Wilderness Safaris is one of the country’s leading tour operators…and currently employs over 200 staff members.
