Dow Chemicals halts building in Indian 'sacred' area

A unit of US chemical giant Dow Chemicals said…it had suspended construction of a research centre in western India after villagers complained it would pollute an area they hold sacred…The…Warkaris religious sect…say the…facility would pollute rivers they hold sacred.
