In an interview with the NIkkei Shimbun, President Yanai of Fast Retailing announced that the company would make its suppliers public "as soon as possible", in an effort to ensure that forced labour and other violations were prevented. Fast Retailing owns the popular apparel brands Uniqlo and GU.
