Land stands as stumbling block for mega projects in Orissa [India]

A review of 14 ongoing mega projects by state industry minister Raghunath Mohanty on Thursday revealed that the world’s number one steel producer ArcelorMittal and two other global steel majors – Pohang Steel Company (Posco) and Tata Steel are struggling hard to acquire land allocated to them at different places because of protests by the local people.
