As a result of gang raid on private property, specifically a Claro station, a fuel spill (B5) occurred…Yanacocha reported the incident to OEFA, making it clear that this spill was caused by the people who destroyed the Conga facilities during their violent raid. Yanacocha deeply regrets this incident, because people who follow leaders who supposedly protect the environment have attacked it, without considering the serious consequences. We hope that incidents of this nature do not recur…
