On October 6, Roberto Nicoya from Association Nueva Esperanza, activist for workers' rights, was arrested at a protest in relation to San Antonio sugar mill. A month after the arrest of other members of the Association Nueva Esperanza, their companions and relatives organized a protest march towards Managua.
