Employee injured by moving mine cart at Lovozersky Mining and Processing Plant, 25 April 2024

An accident occurred at Lovozersky Mining and Processing Plant, resulting in serious injuries to an employee.

According to the State Labor Inspectorate of the Murmansk Region, a track maintenance worker was performing shunting operations when he was struck by a moving mine cart, sustaining severe injuries.

An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances and causes of the incident.
