USA: Companies face increasing pressure to take action to oppose ICE immigration raids
Companies are facing increasing pressure from workers and consumers to take action in the US as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations intensify.
In Minnesota following the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti at the hands of ICE agents, protests have swelled and workers throughout the state have called on their employers to act. Workers and protesters have organised economic boycotts and strikes, in addition to signing on to letters and releasing statements criticising companies' silence.
