The Business and Human Rights Centre's Civic Freedoms and Human Rights Defenders team can support human rights defenders through:

✅ Pushing for accountability: Sharing allegations of abuse with companies and requesting public responses.
✅ Raising your profile: Publishing your work to an audience of 2M+ annually, and, when possible, featuring your case in our research and events.
✅ Supporting at the UN: Helping submit complaints to UN bodies.
✅ Connecting you with support: Referrals for protection and financial aid.
✅ Solidarity action: Coordinating with relevant civil society coalitions, like the Zero Tolerance Initiative and ALLIED, and, if appropriate and requested by HRDs, trying to mobilise progressive companies and investors to support defenders.
