Malaysia: Report alleges palm oil giant IOI workers are subjected to mistreatment & are made to pay high recruitment fees

Human rights group Finnwatch's report, Migrant workers’ rights in oil palm estates in Malaysia CASE: IOI Group, Mekassar, raises allegations that workers of IOI Corporation Berhad (IOI) are subjected to mistreatment, poor living conditions, and are made to pay high recruitment fees.

Moreover, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said in a letter to activist Andy Hall that it was probing IOI over forced labour allegations.
