Global: Social media posts allege multiple instances of labour abuse at Chinese overseas projects

Based on posts published on the social media platform X by the account @BRIChina2023 between January and February 2026, the BHRC identified nine alleged labour rights violations linked to overseas projects involving Chinese companies. Eight of the cases occurred in Indonesia, and one in Laos.
