Civil society groups, think tanks and researchers, social enterprises, and concerned professionals from Ukraine, Europe, and the U.S. have united in the Business for Ukraine (B4Ukraine) coalition to call for an accelerated and sustained business exit from Russia.

B4Ukraine was officially presented to the public on July 21, 2022, with an online event ‘New frontiers, corporate accountability, and business exit from Russia: what next?’

Members are calling for businesses that have already cut ties with Russia to stand by those commitments until the territorial sovereignty within the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine is restored and accountability is imposed; and for those who have not yet left to take immediate action to leave Russia.

The Coalition is asking businesses to meet their responsibility to respect rights and – whether or not in sectors subject to compliance with sanctions and export controls – to undertake heightened human rights due diligence.
