Myanmar: State-owned China South Industries supplied or co-produced airstrike bombs used by junta, report found; incl. companies' non-response

Civil society organization Special Advisory Council for Myanmar (SAC-M) published the report titled “Factory of Death”, detailing the role of China South Industries Group Corporation and subsidiary Hunan Vanguard in the supply of 250 kg thermobaric “fuel-air explosive” bombs to the junta. Transferral included completed bombs, bomb parts and technical assistance in aerial bomb production in the DI 21 factory owned by the Directorate of Defence Industries.

The Business and Human Rights Resource Centre invited China South Industries Group Corporation and Hunan Vanguard for response. They did not respond.
