New cars to carry pollution ratings [UK]

Every car on sale in Britain is to carry a colour-coded "energy label" showing how much pollution it causes, in a revolutionary scheme being drawn up by ministers....Cars with the bestCO2 emissions, such as Honda's petrol-and-battery-powered hybrid, the Insight, or Citroen's new C3 diesel supermini - will get a deep green coloured A or B rating. The worst - popular 4x4s such as the Vauxhall Frontera, Land Rover Freelander, or Jaguar X Type saloon - will get a deep red G band rating.
