Nike worked closely with both PT Adis Dimension Footwear and PT Victory Chingluh Indonesia to confirm that workforce retrenchment processes were carried out in accordance with Indonesia labor regulations and respective collective bargaining agreements, which require exhausting alternative measures such as collective leave and adjusted work hours first.

The decision was communicated proactively and openly with trade unions and stakeholders and approved by both Indonesia’s Industrial Relations Court and local authorities.
