As part of the project implementation, this workshop will bring together government representatives, trade unions and employer organisations, as well as experts and researchers from the Korea Labour Employment Service (KLES). Participants will engage in discussions to address existing challenges and explore optimal solutions to strengthen Cambodia’s dispute resolution system. The findings from the discussions will serve as the foundation for evidence-based policy recommendations and practical action plans that KLES will help develop.
ILO will conduct diagnostic research on Cambodia’s current policies and related circumstances to identify the specific needs and solutions for improving labour dispute prevention and resolution mechanisms with the KLES. Based on this, ILO will develop actionable short- and long-term roadmaps and action plans, providing recommendations to support the effective implementation of these action plans by tripartite groups…
By reinforcing mechanisms for labour dispute prevention and resolution, Cambodia will foster stable industrial relations, fair labour practices, and sustainable economic growth, benefiting both workers and employers alike.
