Tholozani Dlamini is a South African land rights defender. He was attacked during an outbreak of violence against the Amadiba community on the Wild Coast. The community opposes the operations of the Xolobeni Mineral Sands Project, managed by the Australian mining company, Mineral Commodities Ltd. As a result of the attack, Tholozani Dlamini suffers from a crippled leg. Five people are standing trial for attacking the community, on charges ranging from attempted murder, assault to do grievous bodily harm, vandalism, housebreaking and theft.
