Myanmar: Garment workers report mandatory overtime, excessive production targets & verbal abuse at factory; incl. co. response

In August 2022, it was reported that workers at Sanyuan Oversea (Myanmar) Apparel were facing a series of violations at the factory, including denial of leave, verbal abuse, mandatory overtime, excessive production targets and unfair dismissals.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Mango, Piazza Italia, Inditex (for its Stradivarius brand) and adidas to respond. Inditex and adidas responded. The full responses can be found below
