老挝:中资香蕉园带来就业 但也存在危险工作环境和污染等问题

根据国际计划组织(Plan International)2017年的一份报告称, 中国人在老挝北部的博胶省经营的香蕉种植园,每年创造1亿美元出口额,占博胶出口总额的95%。 这些香蕉种植园为当地人带来工作机会,但工人的工作条件危险。例如:工人的住宿环境拥挤,而且没有厕所和淋浴;16岁以下的儿童被发现在种植园工作;有些工人说工作中接触的化学物质似乎在损害他们的身体。 此外,据说这些香蕉种植园使用的化学物质会流到河流和小溪里,造成污染。
