Business and Human Rights Arbitration Project: Report of the first meeting of the Drafting Team

The first meeting of the Drafting Team of the Business and Human Rights Arbitration project was held on 25-26 January 2018 in The Hague, The Netherlands. The purpose of the first meeting of the Drafting Team was to identify and to hold initial discussions of some key issues relevant to the preparation of a set of arbitral rules in international disputes concerning business-related human rights abuses.  The Working Group has published the report of the meeting so as to promote transparency concerning the project and to further multi-stakeholder inclusion.  The Business and Human Rights Arbitration project is coordinated by the Center for International Legal Cooperation (CILC), with funding provided by the City of The Hague.
