We have inquired into the case and we can confirm that Bicontinentar is not a supplier of Diadora spa and it's not part of our supply chain. Based on information we were provided, products branded as Diadora were manufactured by Bicontinentar through a Diadora Licensee between 2021 and 2023. The business relationship between our Licensee and Bicontinentar was interrupted in December 2023 by a mutual written agreement signed ahead of the orders allocation stop.

...based on information and evidence requested to our Licensee, we would like to confirm that they took several actions to ensure that the decision to interrupt the business relationship would not impact Bicontinentar's financial stability and its workers' livelihoods. More specifically:

• throughout the relationship, orders and production schedules were discussed and agreed between the Licensee and Bicontinentar
• orders were kept below 10% of the overall company production capacity to limit dependency
• payments were always processed according to agreed terms and at the time of the relationship interruption all payments were settled
• interruption of the business relationship was discussed and mutually agreed in writing in advance to allow for a phase out period - Bicontinentar never raised any concerns in relation to this clients' departure
