Het Nay is a Cambodian community representative and a member of the Prey Preah Roka Forest Community Network. Het Nay is active in fighting illegal logging in the protected forest. On September 7, 2020, he was summoned together with other 10 members and has they gathered to travel to Phnom Penh to join the protest requesting the release labour leader Rong Chhun, the president of the Cambodian Confederation of Unions.
