Since March 2022, Jumber Tsutskiridze, has been working as an excavator operator at JM-Technikaservisi LLC, a contractor of Georgian Manganese LLC.

In March 2024, Jumber Tsutskiridze joined protests initiated by Shukruti residents demanding compensation for damaged and destroyed housing caused by Georgian Manganese's mining activities.

On June 19, he was fired. According to the company, this happened because he had violated the obligations set out in his contract and labor regulations by leaving work four hours early.

As a consequence, Jumber Tsutskiridze filed a lawsuit with the Sachkhere District Court.
