Myanmar: Employer-selected Workplace Coordination Committee at garment factory failing to address workers' concerns; incl. co. responses

In July 2024, it was reported that workers at Dongxin Garment are facing a series of violations, including harassment by the employer-selected Workplace Coordination Committee that is not addressing workers' concerns, workers denied sick leave if they feel unwell and told to take medicine despite limited medicine available in the factory, or to have a short break at the clinic, and the factory announcing at a meeting that workers' mobile phones will be confiscated.

In December 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Workman, Burtle, Alpen Group and Voyager to respond. Only Workman responded - their response can be found below.
