The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre to invited PT Bakti Pertiwi Nusantara (though PT Bukit Makmur Istindo Nikeltama) to respond to the JATAM report alleging that the company “constructed their jetties right next to the ones owned by PT Harum Sukses Mining”. The report alleges that fishermen are pushed further into the sea to catch fish due to the presence of the company’s barges. The Resource Centre notes that  PT Bakti Pertiwi Nusantara is an entity under  PT Bukit Makmur Istindo Nikeltama. The company did not respond.
