The Prosecutor's Office of Lovozersky District identified violations of anti-corruption legislation during an inspection of Lovozersky Mining and Processing Plant. In March 2024, the company hired a former state employee who previously worked at Correctional Facility No. 23 of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Murmansk Region. However, the company failed to notify the employee’s former employer within the legally required 10-day period.
