Allegations of abuse against migrant workers

Search for named companies included in the Migrant Worker Allegations Database, which records cases of publicly reported allegations of human rights abuse against migrant workers committed by, or otherwise linked to, businesses around the world.

This tracker can be used to search for named companies included in the Migrant Worker Allegations Database. Please note that a company is included here if it has been publicly linked to at least one allegation of human rights abuse against migrant workers, but the total number of allegations recorded against each company includes a wider set of allegations of abuse tracked against the company by the Resource Centre, whether or not they impact migrant workers.

Our full Migrant Worker Allegations Database also records cases of alleged abuse when the company is not publicly named, strengthening accountability in geographies or sectors where business relationships are opaque and companies are uncontactable or untraceable. This supplements the Resource Centre’s Company Response Mechanism, through which companies alleged to be abusing migrant workers are invited to respond to concerns publicly.

We use the dataset to highlight trends in abuses, impacted demographics, locations of abuse and implicated companies and industries across the globe. To discuss our data further, please contact us.

The Database includes allegations dating back to January 2022. It is updated monthly and our full methodology can be read here.
