[DOC] Response to Archer Daniels Midland from Political Economy Research Institute [USA]

We use toxic release data for 2002 because these are the most recent data available from the EPA's Risk Screening Environmental Indicators (RSEI) project... We would welcome more frequent and up-to-date publication of RSEI data from EPA [US Environmental Protection Agency]... We are pleased to learn that Archer Daniels Midland Corporation, which ranked tenth on the Toxic 100 list of Top Corporate Air Polluters, has been responsive and effective in its effort to reduce toxic air emissions. PERI looks forward to reporting ongoing improvement in Archer Daniels Midland's environmental performance.
