UK: Labour demands Prime Minister terminate government contracts with Amazon following findings on warehouse health & safety

Labour is demanding Boris Johnson takes action against Amazon after a Mirror probe into working conditions at the firm’s biggest UK warehouse.

Deputy leader Tom Watson has written a letter to the PM insisting the Mirror findings should be recognised because Amazon is in receipt of “significant government contracts”. He said no further contracts should be handed to the tech giant until working conditions have improved.
